Emily & Claire

Tuesday, October 7, 2008

From the moment we pulled up in the driveway and a little blonde head popped out the door and said "is it her?" Followed by another blonde head peeking out and answering "I don't know!" Emily and Claire had me charmed!

These two gals are so full of spunk and personality - a lot of fun!! They had the best silly faces. And were so sweet and loving to each other. Emily - at age 7 (and a half!!) easily did a cartwheel for us. When Claire (age 5) tried... it was more like a roll. But supportive Big Sister Emily was quick to cheer her "way to go Claire! You did a great job!" So sweet.

We started by doing some photos of the whole family around the house - and then we played with just the girls in some fun coloured outfits!!

They look so innocent....

And then silliness takes over...

Again - silliness takes over... hard to be serious as a kid!

Daddy's girls

And then when I went in the girls rooms - I fell i love with these great chairs!! Helen - can you let us know (leave a comment) what the store in Burlington is you got these from? I think we all will want to visit the store!

So I said, "can you tell each other a secret?" and I hear "I love you...." Melt my heart!

And I think I said something about relaxing - and at the exact same moment they both did this... ha ha!

The girls wanted to show me "their" motorcycle. Love their tough biker chick faces!

I'll leave you with the beautiful (and silly) faces of these two gorgeous girls!

Celebrating life and love,

Krista

Absolutely Beautiful! I love the depth of field and the unique shots. A couple of favorites Kids kissing Jake, family shot in the back (I like the lighting) and my most favorite is the contrasting shots with the kids in the field...they're all great! Couldn't have done a better job myself...Ha Ha Ha, but you'd be waiting another year. Congratulations to the photographers...Awsome Job!!! Pretty Good looking family too!

Jake, the girls and I LOVE the pictures, thanks so much Krista. As for the Groovy Girl chairs, they're from a great store in Burlington called Joelle's. Unfortunately, the chairs are no longer available but you're sure to find lots of other great things (especially women's clothes and accessories)!!
    Thanks again.
