So Wed. was the last day of school - yeah!

Next year will be a big one for our family - just to forewarn you I will be very emotional come September... both my girls will be in school! Madi will be in grade one (all day everyday!) and Eden will start Junior Kindergarten in the mornings. It has been almost 6 years since I started staying home (when Madi was born) and I have never had big chunks of time with my kids gone from me... so sad to see them growing up yet so exciting!!

So we have had two days of summer holidays so far - and it's been great! Day#1 we went to Carolynn's house for a BBQ. Carolynn and I have been friends since I was in grade nine... but it has just been since we've been married we became really close. So it is so fun for us to have our girls so close in age and such good friends! Here's some photos from yesterday...

Eden - who we all know and adore! She'll be 4 next month!

And then our girls were going to sleep over... Madi didn't quite make it (a little scared) so she came home but Eden stayed! Here is Carolynn telling the 4 girls a bedtime story...





Today we got together with some of Madi's classmates to celebrate being done school! We played at the splash pad and had lots of fun - and it's always nice for us moms to get together and gab too!! And there was lots of yummy food!
