Monica is one of my dearest friends ever. We met in grade nine and she has been a constant source of encouragement and wisdom ever since. She is able to create musical masterpieces that are so powerful. Monica and I have been through so much together. We drove out to the Yukon together one summer and lived tehre for a few months, and then teh next summer we drove outto PEI and teh east coast for a vacation. We have visited every province and territory togetehr except Nunavut (created after we were up North I might add) and Newfoundland. We'll do it still....

Today, my girls and I drive the couple hours to go visit Monica. Monica is 4 days from her due date and looks fantastic! Maia will be an amazing big sister to the new little one.

We had a couple minutes with Tim (love this guy!) when I got to the house - so we quickly did a few photos before he left.

And then after Tim left I had Monica all to myself for a few minutes.

And where were the kids while I snapped pics? The three of them were reading books on Maia's bed!!

Madi has decided she wants to be my helper. She set up this shot - showed Maia how she wanted her to hug her mom and Maia followed...

    How can I thank you enough for this gift? It is so valuable to me to have these memories captured of this season of life... but even more special was the fact that you and your girls dropped everything yesterday to come see us. And then you said such nice things about me in your blog too. :)

    Monica, what wonderful pictures. Krista is truly a loyal friend. It's great to have a friend that you have some history with. Maia does look very grownup all of a sudden. And it's true, you look beautiful "great with child". It reminds me of the picture that was taken of me when I was "great with child" with you! Doesn't seem so long ago now.....I'm getting excited about the new baby!

    Krista, those are really beautiful pictures. How nice that you did that for Monica just before the baby. She will always treasure them, I'm sure. And your girls are growing up fast too - how cute that Madi is so involved. She's watching you! Thanks for being such a loyal friend to Monica.
